The Rawdah Youth Organization is a dynamic NGO dedicated to addressing the multifaceted challenges faced by Somali youth. Our organization is driven by the core values of inclusivity, sustainability, empowerment, and cultural pride. We work in collaboration with local and international partners to implement impactful programs that inspire and uplift our community.

Our Strategic Goals & Objectives

Empower Youth for Leadership and Innovation

- Provide leadership training and mentorship programs to develop young leaders.- Encourage innovation through workshops and competitions in various fields.

Enhance Socioeconomic Opportunities

- Implement vocational training programs to improve job readiness and employability. - Support youth entrepreneurship through funding, training, and mentorship.

Promote Environmental Stewardship

- Launch community-driven environmental projects such as tree planting and clean-up drives. - Educate communities on sustainable practices and environmental conservation.

Celebrate and Preserve Cultural Heritage

- Organize annual cultural festivals and events to showcase Somali arts and traditions. - Develop programs that teach and preserve traditional crafts, music, and dance.

Strengthen Community Engagement and Collaboration

Proposed Activities

The Rawdah Youth Organization aims to implement a variety of activities to achieve its strategic goals and objectives.
These proposed activities include:

Youth Leadership and Innovation Workshops

- Conduct workshops focused on leadership skills, public speaking, and project management. - Organize innovation hackathons to encourage creative problem-solving among youth.

Vocational Training and Employment Programs

- Offer vocational training in fields such as agriculture, information technology, and crafts. - Provide job placement services and internship opportunities for program participants.

Environmental Conservation Projects

- Initiate community tree planting events and promote urban gardening. - Organize clean-up campaigns in local neighborhoods and educate communities on waste management.

Cultural Festivals and Arts Programs

- Host annual cultural festivals that highlight traditional Somali music, dance, and art. - Establish arts and crafts workshops where local artisans can teach traditional skills.

Community Development and Engagement Initiatives

- Facilitate community meetings and forums to discuss local issues and collaborative solutions. - Partner with local schools and organizations to implement community service projects.

Entrepreneurship and Small Business Support

- Create a mentorship program connecting young entrepreneurs with experienced business leaders. - Provide micro-grants and resources to support the launch of small businesses.

What we do?

The Rawdah Youth Organization is also committed to human and sustainable development
activity through development cooperation projects in Somalia with the following sectors:

  • Building the capacity of the local farmers to help them cultivate the farms through
    better knowledge and skills.
  • Orphan sponsorship and child welfare through provision of quality education, support
    in eid and etc.
  • Empowerment of women in social development and community awareness
