About The Organization
The Rawdah Youth Organization is a non-governmental, non-political and non-tribe organization that was established to encourage and promote the standards of service delivery of the society and eliminate ignorance through provision of Education and develop sustainable peace programs within the communities in the region to ensure safe community and environment.
Background
The Rawdah Youth Organization for Socioeconomic Development, Environmental Protection & the Promotion of Arts, Traditions and Cultures of Somalia is a none government and none profit Organization that was founded by a passionate group of activists, artists, and professionals from the Somali community and supporters of international cooperation, with the goal of creating a positive and sustainable impact on the lives of Somali youth. The name Rawdah reflects the idea of a garden or lush space where youth can thrive and fully realize their potential.
History
The story of the Rawdah Youth Organization begins with a shared vision within the Somali community, where leaders, educators, artists, and the youth themselves have come together
to create a space for gathering and growth. The center is born out of a recognition of the
importance of socioeconomic growth and the promotion of arts, traditions, and culture as the foundation for sustainable and inclusive development. The founders have worked tirelessly
to create a place that serves as a beacon for the youth, offering support, education, and
opportunities to shape a sustainable and prosperous future.
Our Mission
The mission of The Rawdah Youth Organization is to empower Somali youth by providing them with the tools and resources necessary for socioeconomic development, environmental protection, and the promotion of Somali arts, traditions, and cultures. We aim to foster personal and collective growth through comprehensive programs that address education, health, vocational training, and community engagement.

The Rawdah Youth Organization is a place and expression of individuals from civil society and the Somali diaspora engaged in volunteering, solidarity and international cooperation; builds networks, relationships and opportunities; welcomes and promotes the cultural challenge for change and to influence policies aimed at building a society respectful of human rights, fair and inclusive, at a global and local level.

Our Vision
Our vision is to promote inclusive socioeconomic development, protect the environment, and cherish Somalia’s rich artistic and cultural heritage. A concrete and long-term commitment to development projects in the socio-health, agricultural-food, educational and training sectors, protection of children and adolescents, defense of human rights and gender equality, and institutional strengthening. At the same time, Rawdah Youth Organization promotes projects, awareness, information and global education campaigns in Somalia and carries out intense institutional lobbying work to promote social justice for all men and women on the planet.
